Funding for the external promotion of the visual arts of the Balearic Islands 2020

Budget: € 125,000

Grants

a) Mobility

Grants for the mobility of artists, curators and cultural agents in the field of visual arts in the Balearic Islands

b) Promotion

Grants for activities of external projection in the field of visual arts of the Balearic Islands

Projects that are subsidized

Attendance of fairs, festivals and courses

Exhibitions and artistic activities

Participation in residences and artistic workshops

Attendance and participation in conferences, fairs and festivals, with or without performance

Minimum requirements

The venues for the activities must be spaces for the dissemination of contemporary art, with a stable annual program of exhibitions and cultural activities in the field of the visual arts.

Artists must have at least one solo exhibition in their career or have participated in at least three collective visual arts exhibitions in the Balearic Islands.

Balearic cultural agents must have organized or promoted at least three cultural projects by Balearic visual artists.

In the case of projects and / or collective exhibitions of Balearic artists, a single application for support for each project and / or exhibition must be submitted.

a) GRANTS FOR MOBILITY

Grants for the mobility of artists, curators and cultural agents in the field of visual arts in the Balearic Islands

Beneficiaries

• Companies, creators and cultural agents related to the field of visual arts of the Balearic Islands, who produce and organize exhibition projects and artistic activities related to creators of the Balearic Islands.

Expenses it covers

Travel, cargo, accommodation, accreditation and maintenance

b) GRANTS FOR EXTERIOR PROMOTION

Grantst for activities of external promotion in the field of visual arts of the Balearic Islands

Beneficiaries

• The companies in the field of visual arts in the Balearic Islands, and those with a tax residence outside our community, who produce and organize exhibition projects and artistic activities related to the creators of the Balearic Islands.

• Legal entities registered with economic activity in headings related to visual arts.

Eligible expenses

Travel of the artistic staff and two technicians, accommodation and maintenance, to the maximum indicated in the Mobility table

Eligible expenses in application of the score obtained in the project valuation:

Production of work (up to € 5,000)

Shipment of the work

Nail-to-nail insurance

Assembly and disassembly

Accreditation fees and rental of stands

Fees of people and hiring of professional services

Editing and production of promotional and graphic material

Health insurance (residences)

Maximum amount

The maximum annual amount that can be awarded per applicant and project is € 25,000 (€ 25,000).

Deadline for submission of applications

• From April 17 to June 15, 2020

Documentation to be submitted to apply for the grant

Application for a grant
1) Grant application (Annex 2), completed and signed, together with all the required administrative and technical documentation: copy of the applicant's DNI, company documentation (statutes, foundation deed, CIF), project dossier, detailed budget, project financing plan

2) Responsible declaration (Annex 3), completed and signed

3) The grant application must be submitted to the IEB until the 15th of June 2020. It must be passed through the Institution's Registry. If the application can not be delivered to the IEB office, it must be sent by certificate or administrative mail (with the stamp on the first page of the application) to Institut d'Estudis Baleàrics, Ca n'Oleo, c/de l'Almudaina, 4, 07001 Palma, Spain.

Justification of the grant
1) You must submit Annex 5 completed and signed with the list of invoices and copies of invoices that justify the grant. Invoices must be accompanied by proof of payment. The justification must be registered. If the justification cannot be delivered to the IEB office, it must be sent by certificate or administrative mail (with the stamp on the first page of the application).

2) The justification must be accompanied by an evaluation report and copies of the promotional material prepared for the activity. Any promotional materials must include the logo of the IEB and acknowledge the support given (http://www.iebalearics.org/en/p/identitat/).
