Grants to support research projects on humanities and culture related to the Balearic Islands for the year 2021, in the context of the current COVID-19 pandemic

The credit assigned to this call is € 200,000 (two hundred thousand euros).
2. Object and purpose
The purpose of this call is to support the research, preparation and drafting of investiation projects on humanities and culture related to the Balearic Islands. The projects must be original and unpublished and written in Catalan or Spanish. 20 grants of 10,000 euros each are awarded for research, preparation and writing of research projects.
Beneficiaries of these aids are individuals over the age of 18, who carry out their professional activity in the area mentioned in section 1.1 of the first base. Beneficiaries are also groups of researchers, scholars or creators constituted as a legal entity or community of assets registered in economic activity under headings linked to research and professional activity in the field of culture. These legal entities must be established in a member state of the European Union or the European Economic Area, and have at the time of applying for aid, a permanent establishment operating in the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands. with at least two years of seniority or proof that 50% of the employment contracts or services contracted have been made in the last year in the Balearic Islands or that they carry out more than 50% of their activity in the Balearic Islands.
5. Deadline for submitting applications
From the day after the publication of the call in the BOIB will be open 25 working days, from 3 September to 7 Octuber 2021, both included.

7. Maximum date of justification
