The Ministry of Culture, Participation and Sports at the BIME PRO in Bilbao

The Government of the Balearic Islands has participated again to the BIME PRO through the ILLENC, the first European professional fair for music and digital industry that explores new avenues of income and collaboration through new technologies, video games and marketing. The BIME PRO is a professional event that complements the BIME LIVE festival and is the first European trade fair  dedicated to the music industry in Latin America as well, summoning references from their industry.

The Congress lasted from Wednesday 25th to the Friday 27th of October and was held at the Conference and Fairs BEC! Bilbao venue. There were a wide range of activities such as presentations, sessions, special events, etc. BIME PRO connects national and international professionals, provides new knowledge and explores new business models in the digital industries.

The Institut d'Estudis Baleàrics makes it possible for musicians from the Illes Balears to be in this event wich enable them to meet both national and international musicians and this year has agreed on organizing two performances (showcases), scheduled at the closing party of the fair for the groups Bilo and Go Cactus Mallorca. Another group from Mallorca, Maico, also performed thanks to BBVA.
