Portfolio Reviews in PHE Descubrimientos 2025

Would you like to participate in the portfolio reviews of Descubrimientos PhotoEspaña?

The Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics (IEB) collaborates with the PHotoEspaña 2025 for 4 photographers from the Balearic Islands to participate in the portfolio reviews of Descubrimientos, organized by the festival on June 5 & 6, 2025, in Madrid, Spain.

This call is addressed at professional photographers who reside in the Balearic islands or are native from the archipelago.

The IEB covers the registration fees of 6 reviews of each photographer selected. The pre-registration fee (10€) must be paid by the photographer interested in registering for the selection process.

The selection comittee of the festival will select the 4 participating Balearic photographers.

To participate, follow the festival’s instructions and apply for registration before April 28, 2025.

On the registration form, indicate that you apply as a photographer from the Balearics Islands.

The announcement of the selected participants will be made on May 5, 2025.

The IEB will pay directly to the festival the registration fees for the reviews.

Selected photographers will be eligible for the visual arts mobility line by the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics for their travel to Madrid: http://www.iebalearics.org/ca/subvencions/arts-visuals/

Announcement of selected participants: May 5, 2025.

Portfolio reviews: June 5 & 6, 2025.
