Open call PHotoESPAÑA PRO Talento a bordo

Would you like to participate in the PhotoESPAÑA PRO Talento a Bordo program?

The Institute of Balearic Studies (IEB) is collaborating with the PHotoESPAÑA 2025 photography festival to allow a photographer from the Balearic Islands to participate in the new PhotoESPAÑA PRO Talento a Bordo program, which the festival is organizes in person on June 12 and 13, 2025, at CentroCentro, Madrid, Spain.

This call is aimed at established professional photographers, residents of the Balearic Islands or natives of the archipelago. Applicants must have presented at least one solo exhibition, participated in at least two group exhibitions at the invitation of a curator or cultural institution, or published a photobook with a publisher.

The PhotoESPAÑA Talento a Bordo program, supported by Iberia, is designed as an intensive training experience with personalized work sessions that will allow participating photographers to connect with international curators, gallery owners, editors, and collectors. During the work sessions, participants will have access to new collaboration opportunities with prestigious institutions, promoting the advancement of their careers and establishing key connections for long-term development.

The IEB will cover the registration fees for the selected photographer, which will be paid directly to the festival.

To participate, please follow the festival's instructions and submit your application by April 21, 2025.

The announcement of the selected participants will be made on April 24, 2025.

The selected photographer may apply for the IEB's visual arts mobility grant to travel to Madrid: http://www.iebalearics.org/ca/subvencions/arts-visuals/.
