We make available to the artists and the cultural agents' different lines of subsidy to promote the external projection of the culture of the Balearic Islands.
All artistic disciplines can be accommodated: performing arts, visual arts, audiovisual, literature, comics, illustration, thought and music.
The grants support the mobility of artists and professionals; the promotion abroad of performances, artistic and literary works, audiovisual productions and visual arts projects and the translation and editing of books of fiction, essay, illustration and comic.
The beneficiaries are the artists and cultural agents of the Balearic Islands who develop projects outside their island of residence or external agents who work with artists from the Balearic Islands.
In addition, it supports the production of fairs, festivals and training activities that contribute to the outward projection of Balearic artistic production.

Submission of applications
Applications for grants and the accompanying documentation must be submitted electronically by means of the telematic procedure that will be available in the procedure published in the Electronic Headquarters of the CAIB, which can be accessed from the website of the IEB, www.iebalearics.org.
In accordance with article 12.2 of Order 40/2024 of 13 December, which establishes the regulatory bases for subsidies in the field of culture and promotion of the Catalan language, applications submitted by any means other than the established telematic procedure will not be considered to have been submitted in the registry.
Foreign natural or legal persons who do not have a digital certificate will have to present their applications in the section set up for this purpose on the IEB website, within each call for applications. Communications between the IEB and applicants submitting applications via this channel will be made through the aforementioned section.
Given that all applicants are obliged to interact electronically, in the event that an applicant submits the application in person, the examining body must require the applicant to amend it by means of electronic submission, without prejudice to the fact that the date of the in-person submission will be taken into account for the purposes of calculating the deadline for submission.
