Grants to support the programming of music concerts of the Balearic Islands in exhibition spaces of the same archipelago for the year 2020

Budget: € 100,000

Beneficiaries

a) Individuals, associations, communities of assets and other non-profit legal entities in the field of music, regardless of their tax residence, who are registered for economic activity in sections related to music, when they organize activities with music professionals from the Balearic Islands.

b) Self-employed professionals and companies in the field of music, regardless of their tax residence, provided that they carry out their artistic activity in the Balearic Islands or organize activities with music professionals from the Balearic Islands.

 

Activities that are subsidized

Paid performances of professional performing arts shows of the Balearic Islands that are carried out in professional exhibition spaces in another of the Balearic Islands that is not the one from which the company originates.

 

Expenses covered

Only the following expenses are included:

  • The fees of the artistic and technical team of the scheduled show.
  • Travel expenses of the artistic and technical team of the programmed show.
  • Freight transportation.

 

Maximum amounts

* The corresponding VAT must be added to the fees per person.

The movement of people and cargo must be justified with invoices. The fees of the artistic and technical team must be justified with the Social Security registrations corresponding to the day/s of the activity. Only the justified amount will be paid up to the previous maximums.

 

Date of activities and deadline for submitting applications

The activities that are the subject of this call can be carried out between January 1 and November 30, 2020.

The application submission deadline is open until November 10, 2020.

 

Obligations of the beneficiaries

  • Any public act related to the subsidized activity must be reported to the IEB.
  • The IEB's support must be stated in all the programmes, posters and advertising and communication elements of the activity through the logo of the IEB and the regional Ministry of Presidency, Culture and Equality that are available to applicants here.

 

Payment

The payment of the grant will be made effective, in general, in a single payment, which will be made once the fulfillment of the purpose for which the subsidy has been awarded has been accredited and the carrying out of the subsidized activity has been justified in the terms of this call.

A single partial payment may be made through the justifications and partial settlements with the same conditions and requirements as those corresponding to ordinary payments. The settlements and partial justifications of the partially carried out activity may be included with the documentation attached to the application, although they will only have effect if the subsidy is awarded. However, the request for partial payment may also be made later if the grant is awarded.

If at the time of submitting the application all the activity has already been carried out, the documentation referring to the settlement and justification may be attached, although it will only be effective if the subsidy is awarded.

 

Submission of applications to the registry

Applications for grants for this call must be submitted through the Common Electronic Registry. It can be accessed by clicking on this link.

The presentation of documentation electronically is mandatory for all legal persons with tax residence in the Spanish State (companies, cooperatives, civil societies, associations and foundations), and recommended for individuals (individuals, persons registered in the regime special of self-employed workers and communities of assets).

Foreign beneficiaries must submit paper applications to the IEB Registry, by administrative mail.

Beneficiaries who must use the electronic registry must have a digital certificate or DNI-e, Cl@ve user and Autofirma.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. To send the documentation through the Common Electronic Registry, "Instituto de Estudios Baleáricos" must be selected as the recipient of the request.

2. The annexes must be signed, digitally or with a handwritten signature.

ATTENTION: It is not compatible with Windows 8 RT.

As a general rule, the certificate must be installed in the operating system, except when using Firefox; in that case, it must be installed in the browser.
